Hi
I hava a 900 turbo -90 and want to know how to keep the gearbox safe for long time stationary work.
Probably something went lost in translation as I'm still a little bit unsure about what gear is the best for stationary PTO work. I interpreted it like reverse i a disaster in the making. But is low just okay or is it the optimal gear for long time stationary use? Some gears has to spin to lubricate the transmission.
So to make it as clear as possible for me and maybe some other non German speaker:
1: Should the high/low/reverse box be in I, II or Neutral for optimal bearing life?
2: If the high low is in neutral, should the main box be in 1, 2, 3, 4 or Neutral for optimal bearing life?
Does the splitter have any affect? (pneumatic pre-select)
Kind regards from a snowy Sweden!
Johannes
